In the heart of the Charente Limousine, between Confolens and La Rochefoucauld, the 'ferme auberge du Château de la Redortière' lies on top of a hill in the middle of a large wood. The farm cottage is in fact a restored 19th century castle with it's own dairy farm. Tranquillity and silence are guaranteed. Holiday makers may take advantage of more than just the blissful walks around the grounds. Many activities, events and touristic curiosities are made available.   Within a perimeter of just 10 Miles you will find: The Lavaud dam, for its sights and the swimming The amazing roman ruins of Chassenon, a visit through the heart of one of the largest ancient thermal baths centers. The château of Rochebrune, surrounded by its moats and once owned by the chief of the catholic armies in the 16th century.
